U.S. accuses North Korea of U.N. sanctions breach, demands end to fuel sales

U.S. accuses North Korea of U.N. sanctions breach, demands end to fuel salesBy Michelle Nichols UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The United States accused North Korea on Thursday of breaching a U.N. sanctions cap on refined petroleum by making illicit transfers between ships at sea, according to a document seen by Reuters, and demanded an immediate end to all sales of the fuel. The charge of a sanctions breach comes as Washington engages North Korea in a bid to convince Pyongyang to give up its nuclear weapons.
