People are texting Stephen Miller, the guy responsible for separating families at the border

People are texting Stephen Miller, the guy responsible for separating families at the borderEnraged and concerned citizens are now texting one of the men that’s largely responsible for tearing families apart at the U.S. border.  Separating children from their parents at the border has led to disturbing conditions at detainment facilities — the sound of children screaming as they were taken from their parents and reports of teenagers required to change toddlers’ diapers are prompting outcry all over social media.  Trump’s senior policy advisor Stephen Miller has reportedly been one of the main driving forces behind the decision to enforce the inhumane policy. But Miller told the
New York Times that “it was a simple decision” to make, and that “no one is exempt from immigration law.”  SEE ALSO: You’ll want to ignore this heart-shattering audio of kids separated from their parents. Don’t. While Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen defended the practice during a White House press briefing on Monday, Miller’s been laying lower. But that all changed on Wednesday when Splinter published his personal phone number.  Apparently Miller’s phone is either busy or turned off because people are having trouble calling him. You can still text him, though, and let him know what you think about the brutal policy he pushed for. And plenty of people have. Some are actually using the opportunity to lecture Miller on his complete lack of compassion: Here is Stephen Miller’s cell phone if you want to text or call. pic.twitter.com/Y5aDz1c3fz — Sally Brocksen (@BrocksenSally) June 20, 2018 Someone found Stephen Miller’s cell phone number and you should definitely not text it and violate his privacy! That would be bad! pic.twitter.com/vytzgqWhqm — Lee Germaine (@lee_gsc) June 20, 2018 Don’t worry everyone. I went ahead and sent Stephen Miller a text on everyone’s behalf. pic.twitter.com/Tofo3Pmbud — Jamey Erickson (@JameyErickson) June 20, 2018 Even Mark Pocan, a Wisconsin Congressman who visited the border last week and called the policy “pure evil,” sent a few messages.   Just texted my thoughts to Stephen Miller, but it seems like he turned off his phone.Steve, here’s my text in case you’re on Twitter. #KeepFamiliesTogether pic.twitter.com/OlhQhJ38Jx — Rep. Mark Pocan (@repmarkpocan) June 20, 2018 Some Twitter users went for more personal attacks.  Sent noted Trump advisor Stephen Miller a text. You should do the same. pic.twitter.com/g5xbpD3rP7 — Kevin Church 🖖🏻 (@Kevin_Church) June 20, 2018 Not even sure who this text went out to. COULDN’T BE Stephen Miller, whose phone number was leaked and is readily available on google pic.twitter.com/64mvH1hIJG — eric lab rat (@EricLabRat) June 20, 2018 pic.twitter.com/H1OWcyYXip — ethan (@terminatorlake) June 20, 2018 If you insist pic.twitter.com/qFuXaWV5vw — Stangle’s Kid (@lisasaurstomp) June 20, 2018 Others, well, took more unconventional approaches to going off on Miller. You have to give them credit though — these
have to be annoying.  pic.twitter.com/wgtroWd46S — Samantha Cole (@samleecole) June 20, 2018 pic.twitter.com/Ox3R8HAILY — Ebil 🐷☠ï¸ (@elpardack) June 20, 2018 my stephen miller text pic.twitter.com/oP9YqPiIo6 — sean (@seanshammgod) June 20, 2018 Who would text this to Stephen Miller? pic.twitter.com/LGzIrrmpN7 — Juan Escalante🔴⚫ï¸ (@nerdwich) June 20, 2018 wonder if stephen miller will text me back .. 😔 pic.twitter.com/gHLF60aGde — The Kids See Ghosts Listener (@noahcialism) June 20, 2018 And as Splinter points out, it’s not like the president can complain. In 2015, Trump himself gave out Republican opponent Lindsey Graham’s cellphone number during a campaign event in South Carolina. Trump also posted a photo on Instagram that included the phone number of Univision anchor Jorge Ramos.  But doxxing someone even as hated as Miller does have consequences. Nathan Lerner, director of Build The Wave, saw his account temporarily limited after posting Miller’s number. A tweet from Splinter containing the number was also deleted by Twitter.  Twitter just shutdown @NathanLerner’s account for 12 hours for posting Stephen Miller’s cell phone number. So here’s an article with Stephen Miller’s cell phone number: https://t.co/DoRGM1U6DPGive him a call. pic.twitter.com/C4c8GZqs82 — Build the Wave (@BuildTheWave) June 20, 2018 Miller is bound to change his number at some point soon, but until then it seems like people will keep giving him a piece of their mind.
