ADEN (Reuters) – An explosion hit a military kitchen in Aden used to prepare meals for Yemeni forces trained and backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), causing casualties on Tuesday, witnesses said.
AL-MOKHA, Yemen (Reuters) – It took Seham Ali Ibrahim one month to make the dangerous journey from her village near the frontline town of al-Heiss to the relative safety of Yemen’s western coast areas, often traveling by foot across battle lines.
The owner of a new coffee shop in the Arab-American stronghold of Dearborn, Michigan, is among an increasing number of Yemeni expatriates who are building up themselves and the community around them, even as their homeland falls deeper into war. (March 5)
